Recipe to make “Jeera Aaloo (Cumin Potato)”: Ingredients: 1. partly boiled potatoes – 400 gms 2. vegetable cooking oil – 1 table spoon 3. cumin seeds – 1 tea spoon 4. turmeric powder – 1/2 tea spoon 5. red chilly powder – 1/2 tea spoon 6. salt – to taste 7. coriander leaves for garnish – 4 stalks Steps: 1. remove skin of partly boiled potatoes 2. cut or crush them into small cubes 3. pour 1 table spoon vegetable oil in a deep frying or a shallow pan 4. heat it on medium flame for 1-2 minutes 5. put 1 tea spoon cumin seeds 6. put the potato cubes, and mix them well with the cumin seeds 7. sprinkle 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder 8. put 1/2 tea spoon red chilly powder 9. use salt to your taste 10. mix all the ingredients properly 11. pour little water, and cover the pan 12. let the dish cook for atleast 5-7 minutes; so that the water dries, and the potato cubes become tender 13. remove the cover, and sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves for garnish Bravo Guys!!!
